Why They Chose Hingham

Christ House provides 24/7 comprehensive and compassionate healthcare for men experiencing homelessness with acute medical needs in Washington, DC and offers assistance in breaking the cycle of homelessness. In addition to around-the-clock medical care, their patients receive shelter, nutritious meals, case management, and addictions counseling. Christ House also offers a permanent supportive housing community, the Kairos Program, for former patients with chronic illnesses who are in recovery from substance abuse disorders. Since 1985, Christ House has admitted nearly 10,000 patients and the need remains as critical as ever.

Christ House’s CFO, Angela Oehlerking, was initially drawn to Hingham for competitive rates for their reserve account. Over time, Christ House found the banking relationship with Hingham to be cost effective and supported by a reliable relationship manager, leading them to switch their operating account to Hingham.
